STARKVILLE, Miss.--Mississipi State junior Jeffrey R. Orkin of Jackson is a newly elected student representative to the American Society of Landscape Architects' board of trustees. A landscape architecture/landscape contracting and management double-major at the university, he represents all collegiate students preparing for careers in the profession. Orkin is a 2002 Jackson Preparatory School graduate and MSU President's Scholar. He also is president of the campus ASLA chapter and head of a Starkville-based lawn service.
