STARKVILLE, Miss.--As part of the National Pet Week observance, a Mississippi State student organization will sponsor a dog wash May 13 in Starkville.
Scheduled 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the parking lot of the Oktibbeha County Co-Op on Pollard Road, the free public service is being organized by auxiliary members of the Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association.
While there will be no charge for the animal cleaning, donations are encouraged. All funds received will be shared with the Oktibbeha County Humane Society.
