STARKVILLE, Miss.--Graduating Mississippi State senior Karolina A. Sarnowska of Diamondhead is receiving a $2,000 scholarship from the nation's oldest and largest honor society. The computer science and mathematics double major is among only 160 being honored as 2006 Phi Kappa Phi Scholars. The daughter of Krzystof and Beata Sarnowska and a consistent MSU President's List Scholar, she is a member of the Shackouls Honors College and campus PKP chapter. The invitation-only honor society has chapters at only about 300 select institutions in North America and the Philippines.
