STARKVILLE, Miss.--Mississippi State is announcing Sept. 22 and Oct. 13 as 2008 Fall Preview Days for prospective students.
Check-in begins at 9 a.m. and concludes by 4 p.m. both days. There is no registration deadline.
In addition to tours of the university, the agenda includes:
--An organizational fair that provides information about the many student groups and activities;
--A general assembly, at which details on admission and related matters will be discussed;
--A follow-up question-and-answer session with a representative of the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs;
--Individualized meetings with departmental faculty members regarding potential academic members; and
--Tours of campus housing facilities.
Lunch and an ice cream break also will be provided by the sponsoring Office of Admissions and Scholarships.
