New officers of the Mississippi State University Alumni Association's student liaison group are (l-r) Robert L. "Rob" Puckett of Jackson, president; Suzanne P. Nichols of Leland, vice president for public relations; Anne Elise Parks of New Albany, vice president for education; and Garrett McMullin, also of Jackson, secretary. Puckett and Nichols are juniors; Parks and McMullin, sophomores. An organization of some 45 members, the Alumni Delegates assist the land-grant institution with a range of host duties while working to increase student awareness of the association's programs and services. Members are selected through a highly competitive interview process; this year's 22 new members were among some 230 applicants.
