Senior Rebecca L. Long of Brandon (c) is the winner of Mississippi State's 2009 Homecoming Poster Design Contest. The art/graphic design major received a $400 Barnes & Noble gift card for her pencil and pastel creation, now the official design for the university's Oct. 9 and 10 Homecoming weekend. In addition to being featured in publications and other items promoting the theme, "A Bulldog State of Mind," the artwork will be displayed in Lee Hall's Student Affairs Gallery, located in the Dean of Students office. A limited number of signed and numbered prints will be available to purchase through the MSU Student Association [www.sa.msstate.edu], sponsor of the competition.
