MSU hosting 5K race for United Way Oct. 16

The "United is the MSU Way" 5K run/walk Oct. 16 starts and finishes at McArthur Hall, which is located at the corner of Collegeview Street and University Drive/Barr Avenue on the Mississippi State campus.

STARKVILLE, Miss.--The local community is invited to help support Mississippi State University's United Way campaign by participating in the "United is the MSU Way" 5K run/walk Saturday, Oct. 16.

Race day begins at 7 a.m. with registration at McArthur Hall on the MSU campus. The race starts at 8 a.m., and the course will give runners and walkers a chance to tour the university's beautiful and historic campus.

The entry fee for pre-registrants is $20, and race day registration is $25. Proceeds go to support MSU's United Way campaign. Participants will receive a t-shirt, and age division winners will be recognized.
