STARKVILLE, Miss.--University Libraries at Mississippi State announce the launch of a web page and blog by new journalist-in-residence Sid Salter.
The veteran Mississippi newspaper editor and columnist returned to campus March 1 to work for his alma mater. (For more, see http://www.msstate.edu/web/media/detail.php?id=5143.)
Salter's writings may be accessed at http://blogs.library.msstate.edu/sidsalter/. The page includes his twice-weekly newspaper columns, while his blog covers a variety of topics, as well as information about ongoing programs of the campus library system.
Future content will include information about the library's Morris W.H. "Bill" Collins Speaker Series, Special Collections and Congressional and Political Research Center.
While organized and maintained by the library system, Salter's page and blog represent opinions that solely are his and should not be interpreted to reflect the opinions of the academic resource facility or the land-grant institution of which it is a part.
