STARKVILLE, Miss.--The Golden Triangle community is invited to help support Mississippi State's local needs campaign by running or walking the 2011 Bully's 5K for United Way.
Proceeds from the Oct. 22 run go to the annual campus United Way campaign. Online sign-up forms may be accessed at www.facebook.com/MSUUnitedWay5K.
The entry fee for pre-registrants is $20; $25 on race day.
Activities begin at 7 a.m. with registration at the university's McArthur Hall, located at the intersection of Barr Avenue and Collegeview Street. The race starts at 8 a.m.
The 3.1-mile course will give runners and walkers a chance to tour the land-grant institution's historic 133-year-old campus.
Participants will receive a T-shirt, and age division winners will be recognized.
