STARKVILLE, Miss.--A free Guest Artist Recital next week at Mississippi State will feature visiting operatic tenor Jonathan Price and university faculty members Karen Murphy and Nancy Hargrove.

The program also will include selections of Russian composer Sergei Rachmaninoff and melodies by French composer Henri Duparc.

Price has performed as a soloist throughout the United States and Europe, including Washington, D.C.'s Kennedy Center, Cincinnati's Music Hall and Boston's Shubert Theater. A second-year master's degree student in voice performance at the Boston Conservatory, he is a voice graduate of University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music.
