Junior Paige Nicholson of Lawrence (c) is the new Miss Maroon and White at Mississippi State University. She was crowned Friday night [Jan 27] at the annual spring pageant to choose the most beautiful women on campus. Other top selections from the nearly three dozen contestants in this year's event included (from left) sophomore Molly R. Nail of Brandon, junior Hannah S. Smith of Moulton, Ala., junior Shaughnessy M. Harper of Byram, and freshman Becca Rumbarger of Petal.
