For Golden Triangle businesses needing quick reference information, help now is only a phone call away.
Mississippi State University's Mitchell Memorial Library recently opened a business hotline at telephone (601) 325-9099. The service is designed to provide brief, factual, ready-reference data such as is found in directories, statistical sources and annual reports.
The hotline operates 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Information is provided by telephone, facsimile machine and electronic mail throughout Starkville, Oktibbeha County and surrounding counties, said reference librarian Kerry Smith.
"We're making every effort to use the most current and authoritative sources available in print, electronic and Internet formats," he said. "We will respond as quickly as possible."
