Interested Mississippi State alumni and students are being encouraged to attend the university's 1999 Career Days Tuesday and Wednesday [Sept. 14 and 15] at Humphrey Coliseum.
Representatives of more than 200 businesses, government and service agencies, and university graduate and professional programs will be on hand 1-5 p.m. each day to provide general information and answer specific questions on employment or post-graduate study opportunities.
"This will be our largest ever Career Days," said Lisa Buckner, senior coordinator for the sponsoring MSU Career Services Center. A listing of participating companies and organizations can be viewed on the center's homepage at www.career.msstate.edu, she added.
Last fall's event drew nearly 170 representatives and some 1,500 students and alumni, Buckner said.
