Pat Robertson, a Mississippi State accounting graduate currently serving as director of the Mississippi Public Employees’ Retirement System, is visiting campus as a guest of the Association of Retired Faculty. Her presentation is open to all. Event organizers are anticipating a standing-room-only audience. A certified public accountant, Robertson has led PERS since 2005. She oversees all operational areas, including the nearly two dozen defined-benefit plans and an optional retirement plan for institutions of higher learning, along with the state-deferred compensation plan. She also serves as the liaison to retirees, employers, employees and members of the Mississippi Legislature and IHL board of trustees. Click the "Link" below for more information.
