July 9, 2017

About this event

ASAP is a fun-filled, interactive three-day camp designed to encourage rising high school seniors' interest in accounting by providing an overview of various career opportunities available within the profession. Participants will be housed in Hurst Hall residence hall on the Starkville campus, where they will get a glimpse of college life and what it means to be an MSU Bulldog! The camp will include instructional seminars focused on enhancing professional development and success, developing team-building/leadership skills, and gaining a new perspective of the accounting profession. In addition, participants will hear from accounting professionals and take a tour of local firms or industries, where they will get a firsthand look at audit, tax, corporate accounting or advisory services. The cost to participate is $75, which includes room and board, meals, as well as field trip and workshop supplies. Check-in for campers will be from 4-5 p.m. on Sunday [July 9] at Hurst Hall in Zacharias Village on the north side of the Starkville campus.
