About this event
Join Mississippi State's Department of Communication for its 11th annual golf tournament at the MSU Golf Course! Registration, lunch and a putting contest will be held from 10:30-11:45 a.m. Shotgun start is at noon. Prizes will be awarded in top two flights. Included in registration are green fees, cart, lunch, driving range balls, one free entry in putting contest, an MSU Adidas golf polo shirt and much more. This is a four-person scramble with a 120-player limit. The cost to participate is $125 per player. All proceeds will support the Lora J. DeFore Scholarships for students pursuing internships. Among the largest academic units on campus, MSU's communication department enrolls more than 600 majors and has nearly 30 full-time faculty members. It offers a bachelor of arts, with concentrations in broadcasting, communication studies, journalism, public relations and theatre.
