Faculty and staff who have not previously attended are encouraged to register for the Mississippi State University Safe Zone Advisory Board's fall Safe Zone Ally Training. Safe Zone is a campus-wide program that promotes a welcoming and safe community for LGBTQ students, faculty and staff. Safe Zone Allies, who have completed awareness training, are any individuals committed to providing and maintaining a safe and supportive campus environment. Space is limited, so early registration is required for the training. Registration must be completed by 5 p.m. on Sept. 26. Click the "Link" below to register. We look forward to seeing you!

Safe Zone is accepting nominations to fill vacancies for representatives on its advisory board. All interested parties will be sent a description of responsibilities and expectations for membership, along with a brief questionnaire. Those who would like to be considered for a vacancy or are interested in submitting a nomination on someone else's behalf should contact Scarlett Fyke at sfyke@saffairs.msstate.edu.
