Under the baton of Mississippi State University Department of Music Head Barry E. Kopetz, the Starkville-MSU Symphony Orchestra is kicking off the new year with a “Winter Winds” concert at historic Lee Hall's Bettersworth Auditorium. Free to all, the evening program features works by three prolific composers from the 18th through 20th centuries—Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “Serenade in B flat, K. 361” (Gran Partita); Franz Schubert’s “Little Symphony for Winds”; and Richard Strauss’s “Serenade in E flat, Op. 7.” Click the "Link" for more information.
