Mississippi State University Libraries is hosting the 12th Annual Charles H. Templeton Ragtime and Jazz Festival with a focus on blues, jazz and ragtime. Held in the mainstage theater at McComas Hall, this evening concert will feature 1920s and 30s-style blues aficionado Steve Cheseborough, in-demand jazz pianist Kris Tokarski, respected banjo and guitar player "Fast Eddie" Erickson, and Ivory & Gold, the talented husband and wife duo of internationally renowned pianist Jeff Barnhart and flutist Anne Barnhart. There also will be a brief presentation from an MSU faculty/staff and student performer. Doors open at 7:15 p.m. MSU students with current identification cards attend free.
