Choctaw County Flea Market, part of MSU Extension – Choctaw County’s Turning the Tide on Poverty project, will be held in the Choctaw Regional Medical Center parking lot at the intersection of Highways 9 and 12. Vendors will have a variety of items available for sale, including candles, Mary Kay makeup, antiques, jewelry, clothing, wreaths, stepping stones, plants, yard sale items, hand-crafted furniture and baked goods. Free games will be available for children. The Turning the Tide on Poverty Extension Initiative aims to spur the growth of civic engagement and bring greater attention to the challenging issue of poverty in communities across the South.
