2018 Summer Student Science Symposium

The Mississippi Academy of Sciences is sponsoring its second annual Summer Student Science Symposium at Mississippi State University. Event co-sponsors include MSU's Office of Research and Economic Development; Division of Agriculture, Forestry and Veterinary Medicine; and James Worth Bagley College of Engineering. Undergraduates, graduate students and post-docs/residents conducting research in agriculture and plant sciences, molecular biology, pathology, entomology, genetics, chemistry, health sciences and related subjects are encouraged to present their research findings through poster presentations, which will be considered for prestigious awards including cash, certificates and complimentary one-year MAS memberships. Those interested in participating must submit a 200-word abstract by 11 p.m. on June 15. Notification of abstract acceptance will be distributed on June 20.
