About this event

Want to learn what it's like to be a part of the Mississippi State University Bulldog family? MSU is hosting its fifth New Maroon Camp, which will have another record-setting attendance this fall! With a capacity between 900-1,000 students, New Maroon Camp is a weeklong, student-led retreat designed to help incoming freshmen and transfer students with their transition to college life. Participants have the opportunity to learn about MSU history and traditions, meet current and other first-year students, and move in to their residence hall six days early. The cost for New Maroon Camp is $250. Students with financial need can apply for the New Maroon Camp Financial Need-Based Scholarship. NMC18 is currently on a waiting list status in order to reserve spots for those students who will later accept a scholarship to attend this year's camp. NMC17 had a 100 percent placement from the waiting list into camp, so interested students are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible to be added to the waiting list.
