About this event

Program officers with various centers and institutes at the National Institutes of Health are visiting Mississippi State University to give presentations on specific NIH competitive programs. These WebEx presentations will be on a 20-30 minute rolling basis. One of the presenters is Mike Humble, a program administrator in the Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. Humble oversees the Extramural Fellowship Program, the Short Term Educational Experiences for Research (STEER), the R15 AREA grants, as well as research portfolios in skin disease, immunotoxicology, and autoimmune diseases. Once Humble completes his presentation, other NIH program officers will take turns speaking about their areas of responsibility. Selection of project administrators/project officers invited to present during this seminar was based on requests from MSU faculty. Additional time will be available for program officers to answer questions from participants. A detailed agenda will be provided. Click the link below to register for this free seminar.
