About this event
Mississippi State's Maroon Volunteer Center, Volunteer Starkville, Black Girls Rock of Mississippi, and Youth Service America are teaming up to sponsor various events and service projects to give thanks and show appreciation to the brave men and women who protect the local community and country every day. From 10 a.m.-noon on Sept. 15, volunteers are needed to help clean several fire stations and emergency vehicles for the Oktibbeha County Fire Department and Starkville Police Department. Transportation to and from the service sites can be provided for MSU students volunteering through the Maroon Volunteer Center. However, seats are limited, so students should RSVP as soon as possible at the link below this description.
