About this event

Crosby Arboretum staff member Kim Johnson is leading a fun workshop where children will learn how to use clay. There is no minimum age requirement. Children must be accompanied by an adult, who will be admitted free. The cost to participate is $4 for Arboretum members’ children and $6 for non-members' children. Space is limited, so call the Crosby Arboretum office to register by Oct. 25!

With increasing value being placed on our natural heritage, the Crosby Arboretum in Picayune is the premier native plant conservatory in the Southeast. The arboretum was established as a living memorial to L.O. Crosby Jr. (1907-78) and has expanded to become a resource for education in the region and world. Today, it provides for the protection of the region's biological diversity and serves as a place for the public's enjoyment of plant species native to the Pearl River Drainage Basin of south-central Mississippi and Louisiana.
