About this event

Sponsored by Mississippi State's T.K. Martin Center for Technology and Disability and Families First for Mississippi, this presentation will help parents and students become more familiar with the process of requesting accommodations at the secondary level. Information presented will be especially helpful for high school students who will be transitioning to college, university or trade schools, as well as college-age students and their families. The featured speaker is Leslie Junkin, assistant director of the Mississippi Parent Training and Information Center, who will provide information about the process of working with schools to get necessary accommodations in place for student success at the next level. Seating is limited, so early registration is encouraged. Click the link below for more information and to register for this free workshop.
