About this event

In celebration of Black History Month, Mississippi State's Society of African American Studies and African American Studies program are sponsoring a photography exhibition and reception at Colvard Student Union. On display in the Union's second-floor art gallery, "Imitation of Life" features reinterpretations of such classical works of Western art as Botticelli’s "Primavera" and "The Birth of Venus." Attendees can enjoy refreshments during a reception in the Union’s Old Main Lounge near the art gallery. Click the link below for more information on Black History Month events at MSU.
