About this event
Mississippi State's Gender Studies program and Center for Teaching and Learning are sponsoring a feminist pedagogy panel discussion that is open to faculty and graduate students who currently teach or are planning to teach in the future. Drawing upon long-standing bodies of research that confirm the need for action, three MSU faculty members will demonstrate their classroom techniques for deconstructing and challenging deeply entrenched patriarchal attitudes, behaviors and policies. Panelists include Nicole Rader, professor of sociology and associate dean of academic affairs for the College of Arts and Sciences; Andrea Spain, associate professor of English; and Tara Sutton, assistant professor of sociology. There is no cost to attend, but those interested should register to ensure availability of lunch. Click the link below to register.
