Staff Appreciation Day Luncheon in the Junction

Mississippi State's Staff Council invites staff members to come out and enjoy great food, fun games, music and good company during the university's annual Staff Appreciation Day Luncheon in the Junction! A hot dog eating contest with first, second and third place prizes starts at 10:45 a.m. Participation is limited to six contestants, so those interested should sign up at the volunteer tent by 10:30 a.m. Lunch will served starting at 11 a.m. Staff who bring a meal ticket (will be sent through campus mail) will receive a complimentary lunch and a hot dog. Drinks, ice cream and snow cones will be available (no meal ticket needed). Entertainment including bingo and other games will be available. Door prizes will be given away, and staff must have their MSU I.D. to claim door prizes. The 2019 Zacharias Distinguished Staff Awards will be presented at noon. Barnes & Noble at MSU will give away discounted refill coffee cups at Luncheon in the Junction, and staff will receive a 20 percent discount all day at Barnes & Noble at MSU (must show I.D.). Staff can enjoy a 50 percent discount at the JUVA Smoothies location in the Sanderson Center (must show I.D.). Staff also can enjoy a free workout at the Sanderson (no membership required, but must show staff I.D.). Hail State, and thank you for your service to MSU!
