About this event

As part of its fall Harrison Lecture Series, Mississippi State's School of Architecture is welcoming award-winning architect Ellen Dunham-Jones. She teaches architecture at The Georgia Institute of Technology and is a board member of The Congress for the New Urbanism. In "Retrofitting Suburbia: Urban Design Solutions for Redesigning Suburbs," Dunham-Jones and co-author June Williamson share more than 50 case studies across North America of "underperforming asphalt properties" that have been redesigned and redeveloped into walkable, sustainable and vital centers of community, including libraries, city halls, town centers and schools.
