As part of its fall Harrison Lecture Series, Mississippi State's School of Architecture is sponsoring a free presentation by Tokyo native Ryunoshin Hirai. With architecture degrees from the University of Washington in St. Louis and the State University of New York, Delhi College, he is a senior designer for the internationally renowned design practice of Klein Dytham Architecture, founders of Pechakucha Night. Projects completed under his direction include the Picchio Visitors Center, Daikanyama T-site, Ginza Place, and BMW Group Tokyo. His design efforts focus on the union of digital design methods and analogical associations of recreational architecture and lifestyle branding.
