Tools and Strategies for Critically Evaluating Fake News

January 17, 2020
11:00 am to 12:00 pm

About this event

It is important that students and scholars learn to differentiate between real news and fake news in their day-to-day and academic lives.

With various resources and fact-checkers available online, it is easy to be overwhelmed or unsure about what is true anymore.

This MSU Libraries workshop aims to equip participants with tools to recognize, avoid and combat misinformation, including fake news, false news, media bias and confirmation bias.
