Mississippi State's Department of Geosciences is sponsoring a lecture by LaToya Eaves, assistant professor in the Department of Global Studies and Human Geography at Middle Tennessee State University. Dr. Eaves' lecture is titled "Drapetomania and the Liberatory Practices of Black Place-making." The lecture is free and open to all.
