9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance #DOGOODFROMHOME Challenge

September 7, 2020
to September 11

About this event

9/11 has been designated as a National Day of Service and Remembrance. Throughout the week of Sept. 11, Mississippi State's Maroon Volunteer Center and the Office of Student Leadership and Community Engagement are encouraging members of the campus and local community to honor this moment in the nation’s history through the #DOGOODFROMHOME Challenge, inspired by Youth Service America.

How to get started:
1. Think about a cause, organization or person you want to help or a kind service act you could do to help.
2. Take a photo or video that shows you making a difference virtually, remotely or in person.
3. Post the photo/video to your social media using the #DoGoodFromHome and #serviceatstate hashtags to be featured on MVC's Facebook and Instagram stories!
4. Tag friends and ask them to join the challenge.
5. Share the #DoGoodFromHome hashtag to unlock donations from Hasbro to benefit children of COVID-19 essential workers.
