Harrison Lecture: Katherine Hogan and Vincent Petrarca

September 11, 2020
3:30 pm to 5:00 pm

About this event

Mississippi State's School of Architecture is hosting Katherine Hogan and Vincent Petrarca, owners of Tonic Design and Construction architecture firm in Raleigh, North Carolina, for the fall Harrison Lecture Series.

Hogan is an adjunct professor of practice at North Carolina State University's College of Design and a visiting critic at Syracuse University's School of Architecture.

Petrarca is a professor of practice in the Department of Architecture at NCSU's College of Design and a visiting critic in Syracuse's School of Architecture.

Tonic's hybrid model of professional practice enables Hogan and Petrarca to take on various roles as both architect and contractor. This blended perspective allows the firm to build and implement its own designs as well as designs of other architects, with the highest emphasis on craft.

The lecture will be held virtually via Webex. Registration is required and can be completed online. Register for free
