The Center for Teaching and Learning at Mississippi State is offering a training certification course via the Canvas Learning Management System to introduce instructors to the best practices of online teaching. The course is open to faculty, staff and teaching graduate assistants.
Successful completion leads to distance/online certification. The course will be delivered entirely online in Canvas, and there will be no live meetings.
Participants will work through four modules together in a totally asynchronous four-week session that will introduce effective online pedagogies and help increase the skills needed to effectively teach a hybrid or online course.
