'Changes in OMB Uniform Guidance: 2 CFR 200'

November 12, 2020
10:00 am to 12:00 pm

About this event

Earlier this year, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) in Washington, D.C., revised sections of OMB Guidance for Grants and Agreements. These revisions are limited in scope and reflect the foundational shift outlined in the President's Management Agenda (PMA) to set the stage for enhanced result-oriented accountability for grants. This guidance reflects the administration's focus on improved stewardship and ensuring that the American people are receiving value for funds spent on grant programs, to meet statutory requirements and align with other authoritative sources, and to clarify existing requirements.

Come learn about these changes and what they mean for the Mississippi State research community during the Office of Research and Economic Development's virtual seminar!

Presenters include:

Ann Holmes, Assistant Dean, Finance and Administration, College of Behavioral and Social Sciences, University of Maryland

Denise Clark, Associate Vice President for Research Administration, University of Maryland
