Today [Jan. 25] is the last day that submissions are being accepted for the 2021 Story State Storytelling Competition sponsored by Mississippi State's Department of Communication.

Undergraduate students from public and private universities or colleges may enter by emailing their original nonfiction writing, podcasts and short documentary films to storystate@comm.msstate.edu.

Winners will be announced Feb. 25, 2021 during the virtual Story State event.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the winner of each category and to the 2021 overall Master Storyteller.
