Mississippi State's Department of Food Science, Nutrition and Health Promotion is hosting a film screening and Q&A session for "Laboring with Hope," a short documentary about loss, grief and the hope for change. The documentary provides the backdrop for improving health outcomes for Black women.

Dr. Nakeitra Burse, the documentary's producer, will be available for a 5:30 p.m. meet-and-greet before the 6 p.m. screening. A Q&A session will follow.

Donations of diapers and wipes for Bully's Closet and Pantry at MSU will be accepted.
