Preparing an NSF CAREER Proposal: Misconceptions and Best Practices

Seminar Description: The prestigious and highly-competitive CAREER award is the National Science Foundation's marquee career development initiative implemented foundation-wide in support of early-career faculty with potential to serve as academic role models and to lead advances in the mission of their department or organization.
Samee Khan, professor and head of MSU's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, previously served as an agency official working with the CAREER program. He and others with prior CAREER success will lead this seminar, which also will provide information about various MSU resources available to faculty who would like assistance with preparing and submitting a CAREER proposal.
