Mississippi State's Undergraduate Research Symposium is back to an in-person event for summer 2021! 

Wearing masks is required for anyone who is unvaccinated and strongly urged for everyone else. Both the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Mississippi Department of Health recommend wearing masks indoors as of July 28.

  • Aug. 4, Colvard Student Union, Foster Ballroom, second floor
  • Showcase of faculty-mentored research by MSU undergraduate students
  • Poster presentations in four categories—Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences, Physical Science and Engineering, and Biological Sciences and Engineering
  • Oral presentations or performances (Arts and Humanities category only)
  • Prizes awarded to top research projects
