Proposals and Awards Workshop (PAW)

Sponsored by MSU's Office of Research and Economic Development, this event will provide a high-level overview on the entire lifecycle of grants at MSU, including positioning and planning for success, pre-award proposal preparation, processes and policies, and post-award regulations, procedures, and steps for fiscal and administrative compliance. Presenters include staff from ORED support units.

The content will be presented in two sessions: 10 a.m.-noon—aimed at business managers and support personnel—and 1-3 p.m. for faculty/investigators. This will be a hybrid program with virtual and in-person attendance options. Pre-registration is required, as lunch will be provided for in-person attendees.

Responsible Conduct of Research credit will be given for attendance.
