General Faculty Special Meeting

As most of you are aware, various groups at MSU have been working to develop a proposal for additional faculty ranks. These will include additional ranks for Instructors, as well as new titles of Assistant, Associate and Teaching Professor, and Assistant, Associate, and Professor of Practice. A special meeting of the General Faculty will be held on April 28 at 2 p.m. in Bettersworth Auditorium to discuss amending the Faculty Charter to include these additional professorial ranks. Upon the conclusion of the meeting, voting will be conducted electronically for a period of three days. All members of the General Faculty may vote.
