College Colors Day, the national holiday that celebrates collegiate fandom and the kickoff of college football's opening weekend, returns Friday [Sept. 1], uniting all Bulldog fans across the country by encouraging them to represent Mississippi State University by wearing their favorite gear on a single day.

University departments are encouraged to show their spirit and engage with other fans via social media by using #CollegeColorsDay. For the second year, the MSU Office of Trademark Licensing is offering an award for the university department with the most spirit on College Colors Day. The winner will receive a office visit from our live mascot, Dak.
