This program, featuring Sophie Wang (piano), will offer a look at the progressive stages of life, with its up and downs, as mirrored in musical works: Berg—Beginnings (Op. 1 Sonata), Robert Schumann—Love, Passion, Heartbreak, and Agony (Fantasy), Clara Schumann—Romance, Brahms—Theme and Variations (Op. 18b), Scriabin— Adversity and Turning Points (Sonata No. 4).
