UREC The Day is a University Recreation-sponsored event that is part of Mississippi State's annual Dawg Days series for incoming freshmen and transfer students.

This all-encompassing event will feature different aspects of recreation and will introduce different student organizations, campus partners, student resources and businesses in Starkville. Students will enjoy food, play games and have fun with their new friends on campus. Activities include rock wall climbing; volleyball; basketball; bubble soccer; the popular Battleship game at the Sanderson Center pool; Insanity, Cycle, Barre, Zumba and TRX group exercise classes.
