Join us as we celebrate the successes of the Fish Innovation Lab and the global impact of Mississippi State University!

The event's special guest is Robert Bertram, chief scientist, USAID Bureau for Resilience, Environment, and Food Security.

Since 2018, the Fish Innovation Lab has supported and linked research partners around the globe to alleviate poverty and improve nutrition through the reliable and inclusive provision of nutrient-rich fish and other aquatic foods. Led by the Global Center for Aquatic Health and Food Security at MSU and funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development, the Fish Innovation Lab received its first five-year grant in 2018 and was awarded a five-year extension in 2023. Join us to reflect on the success of the program, including seven activities led by 14 MSU faculty, and look ahead to the future. Together with global partners, the Fish Innovation Lab is translating knowledge into impact with direct benefits for farmers, fishers and consumers across Africa and Asia.
