Join the Mississippi State University Office of Emergency Management for the PrepareAthon & Build-A-Kit Event, a hands-on experience designed to help students, faculty, and staff become better prepared for emergencies and disasters.
This event brings together key partners from emergency services, emergency management, health organizations, and disaster response agencies to provide critical information, resources, and interactive activities that teach the MSU community how to stay safe before, during, and after an emergency.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
✅ Build their own emergency preparedness kit with essential supplies.
✅ Engage with local and state emergency responders and learn about their roles in disaster response.
✅ Gain valuable preparedness tips for severe weather, medical emergencies, and campus-specific hazards.
✅ Discover resources available to help navigate crises effectively.
