Magnolia Moves Activity Challenge

to May 31

About this event

At Mississippi State University, we are committed to advancing the health and well-being of individuals and communities across Mississippi. That’s why we’re excited to introduce and encourage your support for the Magnolia Moves Activity Challenge, a statewide initiative from MSU Extension.

This engaging six-week program (April 20-May 31) invites individuals and teams to get moving and build healthier habits through daily physical activity, nutritious eating, and community connection. Whether you’re walking, gardening, dancing, or playing a sport—every move counts.

Participants can easily track their progress using a convenient mobile app that syncs activities in real time, helping you stay motivated and connected throughout the challenge. Prefer not to use a mobile device? No problem—there’s also a user-friendly desktop option that allows you to log and monitor your activity at your convenience.

Participation is completely free, and the benefits are far-reaching: improved health, stronger social connections and access to weekly resources designed to keep you inspired and on track.

Whether you’re motivated by friendly team competition or prefer to go at your own pace, we invite the MSU community and all Mississippians to get involved, take that first step and start building lasting healthy habits.
