Freshman Alana Daum of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, was among many MSU students participating in Service DAWGS Day this week. Volunteers fanned out to more than 35 community service sites throughout Starkville and surrounding communities. Daum spent her time helping wash puppies at the Oktibbeha County Humane Society.
